Why These Three?
In the following pages, you will learn about the three remaining simple machines: the pulley, the wedge, and the screw. These three machines are based on the other three simple machines. What this means is that each of these machines contain parts from at least one of the three "most basic" simple machines.
You will learn what these three machines are, how they are used, and where you can find them in your everyday surroundings.
