ABOUT
The purpose of this web site is to help students learn about Simple Machines. It will act as a supplement to class materials in meeting objectives such as understanding the six types of simple machines (levers, wheel and axles, inclined planes, pulleys, wedges and screws), the difference between simple and complex machines, and the application of simple machines in the real world.
This site has been designed by H. Lee for Mrs. McAuliffe’s 5th grade classrooms at the Jackson Mann in Allston, Massachusetts. I am a student at Boston University studying Health Science in the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. This site is a requirement for the course ED101, which contributes to satisfying the Massachusetts licensing requirements for coursework in Educational Technology.
